At Mantorp Park FSC tested a new way of qualification by a combination of a Shoot-Out and a Last Chance. The ten fastest drivers in the qualification formed a new group doing a second round of best laps. With just ten car on track there were no blocking by slower cars and the result was fantastic: The first 7 drivers (Rasmussen, Lars Erik Nielsen, Nurminen, Morten Nielsen, Nelson, Frodig and Gregersen) qualified within less than one second!
