Lars Erik Nielsen (DK) who is well known as a very skilled Porsche driver in the European Endurance series and Le Mans drove a Formula Racing 430 Challenge as training for his official Ferrari debut in a 430 GT2 at the 2008 Le Mans 24 Hours. Nielsen did very well and were second in qualification and finished 3rd in race 1 and came in6 in race two after being held back by the chaotic start, which ruined his chance for another podeum place.
